By the hour*

Pay for the hours you need, when you need them.

Our hourly rate (Monday to Friday) is £25, with a minimum of one hour service charge. Fees are calculated at 15 minute intervals after the first hour.

Work undertaken before 8am and after 6pm, Weekend and Bank Holiday rates (by prior arrangement) are charged at a premium rate. Please see our terms and conditions.

Blocks of Time

Take advantage of discounted rates when you buy blocks of time;

Cost of 5 hours = £120

Cost of 10 hours = £225

Bespoke packages

Packages can be purchased as a “one off” or be used on a regular basis. You can purchase these for yourself or perhaps buy them as a gift for someone special. If you cannot see what you are looking for, we will gladly tailor make a package for you to suit the occasion.

Monthly Lifeline Package *

This package can be purchased by or for individuals who require regular assistance. This package means that the client is able to use our service as often as they need (within office hours) in as many different ways as they like. You decide the number of hours you need. Clients can use the time all in one go or spread out the use of the hours throughout the month. A minimum of a two month contract is required and any “out of hours” usage is by prior arrangement.

Clients can roll over any unused time to the following month only. Hours can of course be “topped up” if these are required. Additional hours used would be charged at the same discounted rate.

Home Watch - our Home & Pet Sitting Package

Up to 3 visits a day. We will walk or let pet out into the garden, feed pet instructed number of meals, water the garden, clean cat litter box, pick up newspapers and post, take out the rubbish, stock up with food essentials prior to your return home.

Prices start from as little as £15 per day for a once daily visit

Home from hospital or New Mum Package

This package provides the client with one hour of help per day. First Assistant does all the running about so you can rest. We can purchase and put away groceries, make a drink or light snack, hang up the washing, tidy around, pick up and drop off supplies, deliver entertainment items. Whatever your needs are once you’re back at home, we are confident that we will be able to accommodate your requests.

Packages can be purchased for any number of days @ £25 per day

Special Tasks

We can carry out any one off instructions at an agreed fixed price. Please call to discuss your requirements.

Gift Vouchers

Buy someone the gift of time. Gift vouchers are available which make an unusual gift idea for your customers, employees, friends or family. You can purchase as many hours as you wish.

What’s included in the price?

Service time begins from your chosen location (for example, this could be your home, office, a shop or the library) and ends once the task has been completed.

Any expenses involved in running local errands are included. However, any purchases made on your behalf, toll fees and parking fees outside the Lichfield area will be charged in addition to the hourly rate. Any postage needed for your tasks will be charged at cost. Any mileage incurred outside of the 10 mile radius of Lichfield will incur an additional charge. We are happy to quote for requests for work outside of the Lichfield boundaries.

Use of our suppliers

First Assistant will charge you for the time it takes to source any quotes or locate a supplier on your behalf. We will provide you with either a quote for or notify you of the supplier’s hourly rate
