We are continuously building a database of tradespeople who are prompt, reliable and of course, do a great job. We have taken up references on any individual or company we may recommend. We can also search around for the best quotes.

Find a pet sitter or walker

If you are too busy or temporarily incapacitated, we can find someone to walk your pet.

Ironing Service

Would you like us to find someone to iron for you on a regular basis or do you need a one off assistance when you come back from holiday?  Let us know what you need and we will sort the rest.

Cleaners and Tradespeople

We are continuously building a database of tradespeople who are prompt, reliable and of course, do a great job. We have taken up references on any individual or company we may recommend. We can also search around for the best quotes.

Deliveries

Unable or don’t want to sit in for that delivery; pass it over to us.

Gas Man/Engineer

We can be around to let these people in or even be in the house with you when they call

Errand running or collecting and dropping off items

This could include fetching dry cleaning, runs to the post office, returning library books or unwanted items, taking things to the charity shop, taking important documents across town. You tell us the what and the where and then – consider it done.

Clothing Hire

Do you need to return that dinner jacket or fancy dress costume? Leave it to us; we will take it back for you

Fridge Restocking

Maybe a regular task you want us to do or on odd occasions only, perhaps when you have been away on holiday. Wouldn’t it be nice to come home to a full fridge? Give us your list before you go and we will make sure everything is there on your return.

Water Plants & Garden

If you are going away and don't want to sacrifice your precious plants to the drought we can look after them for you.

Feeding pets

Are you just going away for a night or two? Need someone to bob in and feed/check any pets? We can easily do this and it saves that unnecessary upheaval for your pet.

Security Checks

We can check that your alarm has not gone off or see if there is anything else untoward. We can make sure that your post is not piling up by the door. We can put your bin out on refuse collection day and minimise any clues that might suggest that you are away. We would notify you at an appropriate time if we felt this was necessary.

Welcome Back Service

There is nothing worse than returning to a cold house, particularly if you have just come back from a warmer climate. We can pop in and turn the heating back on, buy in the basics, restart the newspapers and anything else that you request us to do

Research Service

Sometimes, you just don’t have the time to make enquires for yourself. Let your assistant know what you are looking for and we will go on the hunt for you.

Handling Correspondence

We can sort out your everyday post, look out for those urgent letters, send out thank you notes, birth announcements, invitations, manage your RSVPs.

Letters and CVs

Some letters are harder to write than others – perhaps a letter of complaint or condolence. We can prepare draft letters and buy the cards for you to send it on. We can give you advice on writing and presenting your Curriculum Vitae. We will help to get you noticed.

Date reminding

Can’t afford to miss an important date? Tell us when it is and we will remind you in good time.

Welcome back service

Wouldn’t it be nice to come back from a holiday or business trip without having to make that dash round the supermarket for food? We can replenish your fridge and, restart the papers for you. We can also pop in and put the central heating back on so that you don’t have to return to a cold house. In fact, we will do whatever you want us to for your return.

Gardening Help

If you haven't got the time or the energy, First Assistant can help. From a quick tidy for that special occasion to a full landscape service, we can arrange it for you. We can even arrange ongoing maintenance on a regular basis
